My Family and Grandma Dyson's Bench

This post is a kind of special to me and the 1st of a series of what I hope to be 4 of. This is my family. The bench we are setting on is "one of a special kind". It comes from my husband's(Darrell's) Grandma Dyson's house. It use to be along the wall in the kitchen and the table was set up next to it with chairs around all of the other sides. Darrell's dad and his dad's brothers always sat at it and ate dinner on the 1st Sundays of every month. This is when the family use to get together while Grandma Dyson was still living. Over the years, a few of the kids and grandkids had the priveledge to eat sitting on the bench at the table! lol Darrell's sister bought it at the auction and it has been stored in their parents garage since Grandma Dyson passed away. I have had the dream of each family having their families portraits taken with "the bench". I am excited about this in memory of Grandma Dyson. My family is the first and I am hopefull the rest of them will follow!

Did I mention I am blessed with wonderful in-laws? Well, I AM!!!
